A food diary log is a method that we can use to track our daily food intake. This means you will make note of what you have eaten and drank throughout the day – and in what quantities you had of them.

In the log we have provided you are expected to write down each meal you have in detail, from the grams/size of each item in the meal all the way down to the number of calories and macronutrients within each meal/snack/drink.

Overall, this log allows you to get an understanding of the quantity and quality of food you’re eating each day. The idea behind logging in this way is to open your eyes to what changes need to be made to your nutrition in order to work towards your goals.
